Christopher is an associate with the firm and focuses his practice on representing creditors in state court and bankruptcy matters.  He also performs detailed contract review and analysis and prepares complex loan documents.  Prior to attending law school, Christopher worked for both a large creditors’ rights firm and in the bankruptcy department of a large national bank, where he gained invaluable experience dealing with matters under bankruptcy Chapters 7, 11, and 13.

Christopher also has experience dealing with complicated tax matters, an important skill given the tax consequences of almost every transaction.  Christopher has represented numerous taxpayers before the IRS, guiding them through audits and administrative appeals.  In addition, he has negotiated settlements with the IRS involving investments worth millions of dollars.

Christopher received his Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School, where he served as Research Editor of the Capital University Law Review.  The brief he wrote as a member of Capital’s National Sports Law Moot Court team earned him induction into the National Order of Barristers.  He currently lives in Columbus with his wife and two daughters.
